Nope, this is the reason we use type_2, so that we can hide them from the menu.

If you have a situation where you really need the asset to remain a type 2 but need to display it in the menu there is a way :slight_smile:
Ditch your design area in the parse file and replace it with a nested asset area. Then use an asset listing or a site map asset to build your navigation code and nest it into the area. You will have more control of the code with an asset listing but will lose the ability to use the dynamic css classes. Site map will give you the ability to control displaying type 2 and individual assets but has more limited ways of controlling the look and feel.

Another way to get a Type 2 page to "pseudo-appear" on a menu is to create a type 1 redirect page right below it that points to it.
