Unable to find url

we added a new url to the site and to the system url but the problem is that it was not inherited/cascaded to the child assets under the site asset…


is there something we have missed?





as for now we just manually edited something from the database to change the webpaths of each asset…



is there an easier way to retrieve the newly added url to the assets rather than manually setting it one-by-one from the database?







this is the warning that shows everytime i view the lookup settings of an asset:

When you add a URL on the "URLs" screen of the Site asset, Matrix will cascade that URL to all the assets within the site. This uses a HIPO process, so make sure the HIPO isn't stuck on the HIPO Herder screen.

You should never edit the Matrix database directly, as this will almost always break something. :)

thanks avi i just tried checking the hipo herder, but there were no hipo jobs currently stucked :frowning:



[color="#2F4F4F "]and also in the index page, the tag <MySource_PRINT id_name=“global” var=“site_name” /> wont show if i use the newly added url…

but it will show on the old url…

I would remove the URL from the site asset and apply it again. It really does sound like something got messed up the first time. If that doesn't work, you may need to contact Squiz Support so that we can look at your system directly.
