Up For Review problem

When an asset goes Up for Review the Maintainer (through the EES) can still access the WYSISYG and make changes. The maintainers shouldnt be able to
make changes. How do I stop this from happening.

I tried with Simple editing interface it works fine.
The admin user can edit the page in up-for-review status, but the user with only write permission cannot.
