Update existing design file

(Greg Roberts) #1

Hi,

I've updated an existing design parse file currently applied to 500+ pages. It is a superficial change, but is required across all pages. To be specific, I am making this change: <html lang="en"> updated to <html lang="en" itemscope itemtype="http://schema.org/Article">.

The problem is the change is not reflected in either our development or production environments. What can I do to ensure the change is cascaded to all pages?

Have you tried loading those pages with /_nocache to make sure that it truly isn't applied?

Did your hipo job stall?

Thanks for the reply. Yes, I've viewed the pages both in dev and production environments with /_nocache and the design parse file change hasn't been applied. There are no failed or stall Hipo jobs.

But the change is in the Parse File when you edit it? Have you tried reparsing it?

Yes, the change is there when I return to the file to edit it. How do you reparse - what is the process?

I've found the manual reparsing option on the Details screen - not sure if this is what you're referring to. Regardless, it has not made any difference

Yes, that is what I was referring to.

Can you try making another small change to the parse file, such as an HTML comment and see if this is propagated across your site?

Also, what is the URL to your site?
