is there a way to upgrade to matrix from 2.10.x? Well I guess there is not, as Matrix has been rewritten completely. <_<
But can I import the old data (like page structure, contents of standard pages, and so on) to the new system?
We're currently running 4 sites with about 1000 pages on 2.10.x

We dont have any scripts to convert over from MySource 2.10.x yet and I cant see us having much time to work on them in the near future because of other work we have going on here for Matrix.
Although, for standard pages and site structures, its not really a big deal. If you know how things are stored in MySource 2.10.x, a script to create the structure in Matrix is not too bad. The API is pretty easy.
Other types of pages (eg. search, subpage listing) are much harder. They are 100% different in Matrix and have new features and a new way of doing things. This is where it would get hard.
If you or anyone else would like to take on this project, there are a few scripts in the Matrix scripts directory that are a good place to start. I also have some others that could help people out.

So I guess I have to wait until one of your gov clients wants to upgrade and pays for the scripts… justjoking
I'll get back to you for the scripts as soon as I know matrix a bit better.
