I am using value components for the first time.
I read the stuff on page 14 of the Schemas manual and it seemed pretty straight forward but when I looked at the code on the front end it looked like this:
[codebox]<meta name="DC.Creator" content="; corporateName=City Council" />
<meta name="DC.Creator3" scheme="AglsAgent" content="; corporateName=" />[/codebox]
Why is it adding '; ' at the beginning? The 'City Council' part in the first one is the default value, the only one in the list. In the second no values have been entered.
I believe the leading ; is there because you need something in the main value box as well as the value components.
Really? But Woollahra’s looks fine…
From Woollahra Council
[codebox]<meta name=“DC.Creator” scheme=“AglsAgent” content=“corporateName=Woollahra Municipal Council; address=536 New South Head Road, Double Bay NSW 2028; contact=+61 2 9391 7000; email=records@woollahra.nsw.gov.au; sector=government” />[/codebox]
I’m still trying to get through the contradicting federal and state guidelines, but wouldn’t having an extra '; ’ be invalid? What should I put in the main value box?
Anyone out there with a working AGLS or Dublin Core scheme like to share what they did?
No-one else is having or has seen this issue?
For anyone's future reference, I got around it by putting corporatename=organisation in the default box.
