Message: Unable to Write to log file [SYSTEM_ROOT]/data/private/logs/asset_cache.log [SYS0051]
Backtrace: Show[/quote]
We've tried restarting Matrix, Squids and Apache as well as trying to clear the cache and there has been no change. We tried to reach the Squiz guys we regularly work with with no luck.
Our main concern is if this is likely to develop into anything bad when staff are back at work next week.
Is there any easy fix or guidance you can provide in the mean time? I can provide a contact number if someone wants to reach us today.
Do you think it will cause any serious issues if left unattended? There's only the two of us here today and I think we only have read access to part of the system so we may not be able to do anything. I'm not sure if Owen is due to come back next week (he's been in helping to resolve some performance issues). If its going to bring down the system or our Intranet I'd like to try to get on top of it straight away.
It shouldn't make a major difference to the site. You should get Owen or a System Administrator to setup automatic log rotation for you, to avoid the issue in future.
It appears that log rotation is set up for some logs but not these. We weren't able to delete them so will just have to wait until next week and see. I dont know if Owen is due to come back next week or the week after.
