Web installer for older releases?

Hi all,


I don't want to install postgres as I'm not very familiar with it. Therefore I need to install v 3.2.1 or older to be able to use MySQL. Is there a web installer for this version and if so, where can I get it?



PS, please don't try to convince me to install postgres :stuck_out_tongue:

Install postgres… :stuck_out_tongue: It really isn't much harder than MySQL, and 3.2.x is now VERY old.


I'll have to poke around to find an installer that still has the mysql options… but you should really really really give postgres a shot ;).

I’ll have to say ditto on tackling postgres. I come from a MySQL background and found that installing postgres is pretty much just as easy to install. This is probably not a wholey accurate comparison, but postgres is like MySQL with bells and whistles.


If you’re familiar with PHPMyAdmin, then you’ll find the Postgres counterpart PHPPGAdmin. That should help ease the transition, and you’ll be able to use the later versions of Matrix.
