I am using Version 3.22

Awaiting reply…

Hello,

One quick solution i thought of it is to configure my Outlook in sucha way that message having subject line "Workflow approval required" should not come in inbox…may be redirect them to delete folder…

same for the Asset Status Change email…

this is like a worst solution but still… I if i can configure matrix such a way that it doesnt send the email…would be great…

Thanks…

You can prevent matrix from sending these emails by changing the 'Log To Email White List' in the messaging service configuration. This is located as a drop down option in the system configuration menu (should be available to system administrator/root account). The following entries refer to workflow actions:

asset.workflow.invitation

asset.workflow.announce

asset.workflow.invitation.

asset.workflow.announce.

asset.workflow.stale

Remove the ones you don't want and matrix should stop sending emails for it.

Hi! Thanks for that info Anthony,

If we just wanted to remove the automated "Workflow Started" emails only from the whitelist, could you confirm which one of these options would just remove that?

asset.workflow.invitation asset.workflow.announce
asset.workflow.invitation.*
asset.workflow.announce.*

Many thanks :D

Update, no word as yet to between system email confirmation, existing earlier workflows still generating emails.
after much testing, comparing fields, values etc in detail. We can only put that down to being corrupted in some way.

Cloning an existing workflow is working, and generating emails, curators able to push from save edit to > safe edit approved to go live to > make live, in both EES and Admin interface.

Sorry its not so insightful for other travelling to this post. Thanks again for the help!!
