Hi,
I recently noticed that the content screen is slow to load compared to the past. After reading http://manuals.matrix.squizsuite.net/designs/chapters/design-asset#Styles-Screen I checked our design assets, none of them are defined with classes in WYSIWYG. But in WYSIWYG there is a quite long list of the available CSS classes. From the manual the classes are coming from the linked CSS file in the design. As we have too many classes may it be the case to slow down the WYSIWYG loading? If so do I have to define the classes in each design assets to stop the WYSIWYG pulling out the whole list of the CSS classes?
Thanks,
Robin
As i read the manual, if you specify any class in the Style screen of the Design asset. it will pass to the style list in WYSIWYG.
If there is nothing specified in style screen of the design asset, it will retrieve all classes in the CSS file of the design asset.
If you can just specify one class in design asset, that should limit the drop-down list to a single entry. Will that make your WYSIWYG loading much faster?
Thanks Edison, that what I wanted to clarify.
Hi, I just realised the style setting is not cascading, is it designed to be or I have missed out something? Much appreciated in advance!
