We have an asset builder that creates event assets works well, however we got an error today one user submited a form didn't get any confirmation.

Is there a character limit?
There is no character limit for WYSIWYG cells, however there is a 255 character limit for words in the search index. It looks like the user has pasted in some content from an external source and not run the Replace Text tool, so all the bad HTML has been retained (lots of nbsp; instead of actual spaces, so the indexer can't break the words properly).
