I just upgraded to OSX 10.8 and java somehow wasn't enabled so the asset map wouldn't load. So, for all of you in the same boat, make sure to open up Java preferences:
Then enable the applet plugin:

Same thing happened to me at home on my mac b air, good to have the related preferences logged here though. Cheers.

Have you had any Safari 6.0 issues? It is like my keyboard doesn't work all the time within Matrix in input fields. All other websites are fine. Possibly something with Matrix CSS or frames?
