Since upgrading to 5.0.1.1 searching in the _admin is now super slow. I normally search using an asset ID or a URL which in previous versions would instantly take me to the asset. Now it seems it processes forever and I even get a "Fatal error: Allowed memory of size exhaused" error.
What has changed? If there were changes, how can I change it back? :)
Out of interest which version did you upgrade from?
We recently upgraded to v4.18.X and search no longer works for normal string, only the ID/URL works. However ours could be related to the size of our system, but it is strange this problem only occured after the upgrade.
Wouldn’t that be just a change in the config?
Don’t say it goes slower with upgrading

You might want to try a system reindex if you change any of the search manager index settings.
No, not just a config thing. Search now takes a while, then finally shows a result with the first item being "Matched an asset by URL" and other results matched on keyword. It didn't used to search for any keywords if you entered a URL or an asset ID.
