Hi all.
I now have 3.18 working reliably on RHEL 5.1, but I can't seem to get it working with selinux set to enforce. I've installed matrix on it's own directory on a data drive (/data/matrix strangely enough)
If I turn off selinux away it goes, but I'd like to keep it locked down, if only for the extra layer of safety.
I'll admit I'm new to selinux, so any help would be much appreciated. It's going to be chconning the right directorys with the right values. Can anyone with more experience help?
I haven't actually started playing with SELinux and Matrix, but it's part of what I need to do to get Red Hat certification for Matrix. Essentially, you would need to chcon the Matrix PHP files to be executable by Apache. Unfortunately, I don't know when I'll get the chance to get all this working.
Hi Avi,
Any movement on the correct SELinux settings for RHEL?
I must admit SELinux seems to be a bit of a pain to work with...

None at all, as I haven't had time to start looking at it yet. :( I do have a friend on mine that is an SELinux expert, so I was going to rope him into helping me when I get a chance.
