I currently have access to a demo site were i'm testing the different modules. I was having a go with the Asset Builder Page and mostly got it working.
But when i select a Required Attribute i can see any edit boxes on the screen that would allow me to enter the info into the required field so the adding of the asset fails. If i don't choose any required attributes then it works fine. Is there a keyword i should be using in the Logged In Screen?
Also if i choose two Current Asset Types on the screen you get a link for each asset type. So you select one or the other and the text under the Upload File (pdf's and word assets) box saying the types you can upload. Initially the pdf asset type is selected but if i then select the MS Word Document link everything is fine. But if i then select the PDF File link the upload file box and browse button disappear.
Any Idea's?
Never seen the second situation you describe, but I can answer the first.
It is very possible that the attribute you are marking as required is not actually able to be entered during creation of the asset type. The Asset Builder lets you select it because it has no idea what the create interface will look like. So basically, if you can see the box, you cant make the attribute required.
