I've just created an asset lister that lists child assets to two levels, formatted as nested lists. I did this by creating a grouping restricted to standard pages with direct parent only checked. The problem is that I want the list to print out in the order it is in in the asset map, but as I have to set "Direct links only" to no, the list then sorts by asset name. Is there a way to have direct links only set to no and still get the list to print out in the asset map order?
If you want to print assets in the same order as the Asset Map you have to use Direct Links. There is no work around for it.
For double nested asset listings use the SESSION variable in the Dynamic Parameters and set it to "list_current_asset_id".
