Asset listing custom form assets - any way to show last submission date?

With using an asset listing to identify custom form assets on a system - is there any way to show the last submission date for a form?

You would probably either need to use another asset listing to list the very latest form submission asset created, or use a trigger that updates a metadata field on the custom form asset whenever a new form submission is created?
