Has anyone tried or know how to use the asset listing page to create a table of contents type structure which contains the links/anchors to sections in a page??
Similar to below:
Page Name
- H1
– H2
— H2
etc

You would have problems listing anchors within a page, as the listing engine can only list assets. You could use it to create a TOC of assets, though.
Asset listing only lists assets, so each of those headings would actually have to be a page itself. Your document would need to be structured using assets for this to work, but it would work if that was the case.
It's a long shot, may not suit your requirements (and I haven't really thought this through) but you could do an asset listing listing bodycopies, and each bodycopy containing a single H2 content and having for ID the H2. Then format the output using keywords to build your anchor from the ID of the bodycopy listed.
