Asset listing table grouping

Am I reaching trying to print the below code via an asset listing page with grouping?

I've managed to achieve what I need via nesting tables somewhat, but would really like to find a cleaner solution.

Heading 1 Heading 2 Heading 3
Folder 1 Contents
  • asset 1 metadata
  • asset 2 metadata
  • ...
  • asset 1 hyperlink
  • asset 2 hyperlink
  • ...
Folder 2 Contents etc.  

Asset structure

  • Folder 1
    • asset 1
    • asset 2
    • asset 3
    • ...
  • Folder 2
    • asset 1
    • ...
  • ...

Cheers for any guidance or recommendations.

Have you tried to setup grouping yet? If you group by the parent asset, then set it to folder you should be able to easily do what you are wanting.
