Asset status on Content Containers

Just want to ask why it is actually possible to change the asset status of a bodycopy (content container) on a standard page to be under construction from live - but then it’s asset status does not actually change at all??

The workaround we devised was to change it to “up for review” and then put it into “safe edit” so we can work on the code without it being live.

Same kind of thing for turning a bodycopy offline. We put it into “up for review” and then change it to “archive”.

Just want to know if this is normal Squiz Matrix behaviour or not.

I’m pretty sure that’s a bug, I know it has been discussed before but can’t remember the outcome. The bug solution is simple: Either allow setting individual containers to under construction or disable that as an option from the select drop down field.

Will try and find the squizmap and if not, will start a new one.
