Automated email templates

(Richard Crompton) #1

Hi

We're using Squiz Matrix 4.14.0.

We have a number of automated emails that get sent to our backend/admin users and generally don't have an issue with them.

However, in workflow, if approval is rejected the user that created the asset (simple edit user) receives the email.

After the message content there is a line followed by:

This is an automated message from abcde Matrix 4.14.0 running Squiz Matrix v4.14.0 System Root URLs :
cmsloadbalancer.abcde.local
abcde.test.squiz.co.uk
preview.abcde.co.uk
matrix.abcde.co.uk
abcde.co.uk
preview.abcde.local
www.abcderegister.co.uk
abcderegister.co.uk

Contact abcde (support@abcdesolutions.co.uk) for support.

Is there any why that this can be configured as I don't want these urls to be sent?

Hi,

This is a default behaviour. In the Later Matrix systems (4.16.3 onwards) though a feature was added, #6535 Feature: Abilty to customise the email footer of the email generated by the Messaging Service, which would enable System admin to customise the email footer.

You would have either one of the 2 options to get the above feature. a) An upgrade or b) if you are Squiz client then you may have to raise a support ticket to see if the feature can be backported to the system you currently are on.

Hope this helps,

Ash
