Best Practices for Managing Large Asset Counts in Squiz Matrix

(nehotiw) #1

Hey guys…

I’m currently managing a large Squiz Matrix instance that contains thousands of assets across various sections of our site. While the system runs well, I’ve noticed that as the number of assets grows, tasks like maintaining metadata, applying designs, and even simple navigation in the admin interface can become a bit cumbersome.

I was wondering if anyone has recommendations for:

  1. Improving performance when working with large asset counts.
  2. Setting up an efficient structure or hierarchy to make asset management easier.
  3. Automating tasks like metadata updates or linking/unlinking assets.

I also check this: https://forums.squiz.net/t/responsive-images-best-practice-in-matripowerbi But I have not found any solution. Could anyone guide me about this? I am also curious if there are any specific tools, plugins, or techniques that you’ve found particularly useful for optimizing workflows in this scenario.

Thank you!
