Best way to update CSV data source

Hi, what is the best way to update CSV data source when we have a row or two updates on the CSV? Asking because I just updated CSV data source with 8 columns and 40 rows and it got Gateway 503 timeout when publishing the asset. So I put the asset to SafeEdit, upload the updated CSV, and make the asset live.

The last step caused Gateway 503 even though I noticed that the asset has been published successfully.

As a data source I wouldn’t say 100 rows will be to much … but given that it has timed out on only 40 rows make me wondering if I should have updated it in other way?

It seems that what I have experienced isn’t normal. I have done the same on another instance (the same CSV) and the asset just went live pretty quickly. So something else was going on.

Anyway, just want to check if anyone has got CSV data source with sizeable data on it and whether or not publishing (from Live to SafeEdit to Live again) is a performance issue. Thanks.
