Hi guys, I posted a fix for the Calendar Page asset a while back, which I think is a great feature. It removes the unused JS code from the output when you don't require it, which allows you to use a calendar page to build clean XML.


We have to do a manual fix every time we upgrade and I would it to be in the actual code of Matrix for everyone to benefit from. Could someone take another look at it?

That sounds like an amazing feature, I hope it gets in.


I actually popped by to ask if anyone knows how to suppress the Javascript output on a simple edit layout, but now I think of it it'd be great to do the same for the login box as well. It would be nice to reduce the amount of rubbish Matrix outputs, if you'll forgive my minor rant.



I give your fix a plus vote in any case. I definitely think tidying the markup Matrix generates should be something Squiz takes more seriously.
