Bypassing Search Manager Minimum Word Length

Hi,

 

Hopefully this will be a pretty simple question and may be in the manuals somewhere but I couldn't find it nor any answers upon using the Search on the forums.

 

Basically I have a specific Search page that searches through our "Media Mentions" news items of our staff and I would like the Minimum Word Length that is currently set to 4 on the Search Manager to be disabled/bypassed for this specific Search Page. Is this possible?

 

I don't want to change the settings for all the Search pages throughout our site.

 

Any help is appreciated!

Unfortunately its a system wide setting. Can you utilise the white word list to add some words that you want to appear in the search that are smaller than 4 letters? Or is it the other way around? You only want to search for words that are longer than 4?

I've added a bunch of words to the white word list, hopefully this solves the issue for the most part, thanks!
