Can't Find Template Field in Edit Container Properties Popup

Hi,

I’m trying to follow the tutorial on https://matrix.squiz.net/manuals/content-templates/examples/how-to-create-a-content-container-template and everything seems fine until the point below:

  • Click to open the Edit Container Properties popup of the Content Container and in the Template field select our Image Listing template.

I can’t seem to find the template field in the Edit Container Properties popup (see below).

Can anyone shed some light on this? Your help is very much appreciated.

Have you checked that you’ve configured Allowed Root Nodes on the Content Container Template asset?

Select the root node of your Asset Tree where the template should be allowed to be used. Because we don’t want our template to be used by authors just yet, it’s recommended to set this to a test Standard Page asset temporarily for now.

You are right! I have set that on a child asset but kept trying to use that on the parent hence couldn’t find the field!
