Content not displayed

Hello,

I am strarting a new website and I have a little problem with the couple design/Permissions.

I Have done a very simple design that I applied to my Website. In my parse file I have <MySource_AREA id_name="body" design_area="body"/> that should display the content of my page.

Because I am still working on this website I did not give the read right to the public user( but as Syst Admin I have the right on my design and on my website).

My problem is that if I dont give any right to the public user, my content is not displayed. As sys admin I should have the right to see everything no ? Except that, the rest of my design is well displayed.

Cheers.

As a System Administrator you should be able to see anything that is not public while logged in.

Perhaps there is some CSS associated with your design that is preventing the content from being displayed. Is the content text shown when the entire page is selected with the cursor while being previewed? If this is the case, the text may be shown as white on a white background.

If you logged in as sysadmin, as Mark said it could not be a permission issue. Try check the following,

  1. The code should look like
        <MySource_AREA id_name=“body” design_area=“body” />
    , note there is space in front of "/>"

  2. Has the page been applied with paintlayout?

  3. Do all the page's content disappear? If you can find any page display the content, try check the other page's design being applied correctly.
