Content tools in admin versus edit+ ( Word cleanup)

Hi team,

some of the great changes with the new matrix is the consistency in the content tools in admin and Edit+

We have however noticed that when copy and pasting from word in admin, the word styles are not removed, like there are in Edit+.

browsers I pasted with are Microsoft Edge for example

Is the editor consistence in function?

Admin and Edit+ are using the exact same editor, so they should be cleaning it up the same in both interfaces.

Can you attach the word document you used to copy and paste from?

Also, does it happen if you use a different browser such as Chrome?

This is only occurring using Microsoft Edge. But I have a inclining that it could be a version 15. I thought there was only issues with version 15 using Edit+ and not admin.

Could you advise?

No idea if it’s an Edge version 15 thing. I’d first try in Chrome to see if it works there maybe?

Yep all the other browsers are all ok. However we run windows 10, and edge is the standard. We have the ability to use other browsers though. I just need to be aware if there is issues so we can alert admin users - if using edge there’s issues. Can you confirm you guys are all ok using edge ?

Yea Edge is working fine for us, but might be something specific with the document you are using. Might have to send a ticket in to Support with all the details including a copy of the word document you used so that they can have a closer look.

Is edge you are running version 16?
