Context Specific Asset Listing Page

(Jonathon Jenkins) #1

Hi,

I am trying to list pdf files on an asset listing page on a bilingual site useing two contexts for each page. How do i change the location of the pdf files depending on which context the page is being viewed in so that viewing a page in one language displays a set of pdf's in that language, and viewing the same page in the second language displays a different set of pdf's?

I have tried two different Asset listing pages nested in a standard page but it seems that the Nested Content is not context specific!

Any help would be very appreciated.

Since there is a different bodycopy for each context, couldn't you just nest a different Asset Listing into each?

Hi,

Thanks for the reply, but if I switch context from the default context in the bodycopy, change the nested content to a different Asset Listing and then switch back to the default context, it has also changed that Asset listing - it seems that nested content is not centext specific even though when it is in a different bodycopy.

Any other ideas or help would be very much appreciated.

How about trying the keyword %globals_asset_contents_raw:xxxxx% (replace xxxxx with your asset id) and put that in your bodycopy.

Great, many thanks, simple and has solved the problem.
