Creating a search - editing a date_query field

Hi,


I am setting up a search page in Matrix that contains a date_query field. In the html for the three drop-downs, the day, month and year options appear in an html <table>.



I have created a custom default search bodycopy but the <table> layout remains for the date input fields.



Is there a way that I can edit this field so to remove the <table> tags but place them in <div>s and <span>s?



No probs if it can't be done - I'm just investigating the extent of customisation that matrix will allow!
