Custom form email options - recipient/receipt emails not being sent

I have issues with the email options in the custom forms. I have set up the Recipient and Receipt emails and they don't always seem to send. It also seems random when they are sent i.e. sometimes the Recipient email will be sent and not the Receipt and vice versa. I have checked with IT to see if the emails are being blocked but they are not.

 

The submissions are however logged in the backend.

 

Has anyone else encountered this issue? Is there anyway I can check that the emails are being sent?

Does it make a difference if a user is logged into Squiz?

I would use submissions actions to send an email instead. They are much easier in my opinion.

If they are getting randomly sent and not, seems like there might be an issue with the email server configuration. Is the email always sent to the same address? Does the end address have spam filters on it that might be preventing it? Have you tried sending to a different email address? The email logs on the server should tell you if matrix tries to send the emails or not, you should be able to match them up with each form submission you do from the custom form.
