Design area customization assets not in asset map?

Design area customizations are assets - they have an asset ID - but they do not seem to appear in the asset map. Is that the case? If so, do these assets not have their own status/permissions, or anything else normally accessible by right-clicking an asset in the asset map?

Yes, they are TYPE_3 links so they don't appear in the Asset Map. They do have Details, Linking, Permissions, etc. All the normal screens. You just need to access the customized area first, then choose the screen from the top right drop-down menu.

Ah, OK. Didn't really know about that drop-down.
