Smart - not to display sorting links in column headers when it does not make sense (senses for particular page shown within Fig 2)
Universal - always display all sorting links on all columns

Wouldn't it be better to call this page 'Targus Newsletter Subscription Management' if you DO want to use the SAME page for subscribe and unsubscribe?
I can not see a reason not to create two separate pages - one for subscribers and one for unsubscribers, where unsubscribe page will have an email as text and single button only.
