Documents caching

Hello

We have notice that some PDF's are caching… When we update a document it can take several hours for the new version of the document to be available on the website. Pages seem to be fine. What is causing this and how can we stop it.

Hi Angela,

Are the PDF files served by Matrix (i.e a regular looking url) or via Apache (__data in the URL). Also are you using Matrix or Squid caching?

If you are using some caching mechanism then you might have to set up a trigger to clear the cache everytime the file is updated.
