Edit + "?" in headline converts to "%3F" on save

Matrix / Edit Plus: 5.1.2.1

 

 

Editing a News Item asset

 

I enter a "?" character in the "headline" field on the details screen.

I click save

The "?" is converted to "%3F"

 

If I go into Matrix and edit it there - all is fine - it stays as a ?

 

Anybody sen this before or any ideas how to fix?

Hi Karl,

 

This issue was fixed in 5.2.0.0 - https://squizmap.squiz.net/matrix/6224.

 

As you are a client I would suggest upgrading to the latest Matrix/Edit+ version of 5.3.4.0 - there are hundreds of fixes and features since your current version.

 

If you contact your Squiz Account Manager they can get this organised for you.

I think I'm due an upgrade later in the year so will book one in soon.

 

I'm using ^urldecode for now - it seems to be working front-end but I can't help feeling it's going to cause me problems further down the line.
