Form "send submissions to email" not sending

Hi guys,

 

I am trying to setup the "send submissions to email" feature for Custom Forms. Running on Squiz Matrix v4.10.3

 

I couldn't find anything on Squiz Manuals about this, but perhaps I have overlooked it?

 

I have set it up with a form and was trying it out yesterday, but have received 0 emails of the logs, despite setting it to send them to me every 30 minutes (which is the frequency of our Cron).

 

Nothing was displaying in the Error Log as a failure. I am wondering if this is due to the white list / black list of sending submissions in the systems config area? (I know this was the issue with Workflow emails).

 

I am looking at Messaging Service Configuration, is there a particular type that needs to be in the Email White List for this to email through?

 

If this isn't the issue, any ideas on what may be?

Did you make sure to click on "Edit" after creating that cron job? There are many more details on the Edit screen that need to be filled out.

 

Do you normally get email from Matrix, like from a Custom Form?

I hadn't even noticed the "edit" link!

 

That would help! :)

I had be wondering "how does it know who to send it to??" and thought the option of just the job name (which I assumed must be for the email address) and when to sent were abit basic! ;)

 

Haha, pretty sure this will now work - I will find out in about 20 minutes!

Feel like abit of a dufus not noticing that "edit" link! :P
