Form submission logs CSV - order of questions

I’ve got a Custom Form that I’m sending daily submission logs with CSV attachment. All working fine except the order of the columns in the CSV. The order seems to follow the order in the asset map (which is the order of the questions being created), but we’ve changed the order of the questions in the Form Contents screen to make more sense. Customer wants the columns to match the order we’ve set, not the asset map order. Can we do this? Is it expected to follow order of assetmap for submission logs?

I’d say it’s always been like that. It would make more sense to make it follow the order that you’ve set, I agree.

What version of Matrix is this on by the way?

I can check if it’s still the case in the latest version and if not, add a feature request to get it changed.

Thanks Bart. Happening on v5.1.1.0. Though it looks like we’ll be upgrading this particular instance to v5.4.x within a few weeks, so if it’s fixed in later versions will hopefully be a non-issue.

I just tested this in the latest version of 5.4 and can confirm that the submission logs csv matches that of the order of your form fields, not the order in the asset map.

Confirmed, works fine in v5.4.
