%globals_server_REMOTE_ADDR% discrepancies

I am comparing the output of the %globals_server_REMOTE_ADDR% keyword on an internal install of Matrix (v4.16.1) to an externally hosted Matrix site (v4.18.0).

 

I had expected to see the same IP (my public IP address) printed while viewing these pages, but they are different. 

 

Any wisdom greatly appreciated on why the same keyword would generate different results? Apologies if this is more PHP related.

How to delete a post....?

No need to delete, it's useful having this here actually as others might experience the same issue without considering the network firewall.
