HTML in Poll options escaping

I was delighted to discover that HTML could be used in the Poll option of a Poll question asset (added a few <a> tags). Although after committing the changes and admiring the front-end results, shortly after the code became escaped.

After reverting the Poll option back to the original HTML and getting the same result, I assume I’m hacking this option by making it do something it wasn’t intended for? Although the <strong> I used in the Poll Question remained intact.

Cheers for any wisdom or workarounds.

@Ratherbesurfing Using html tags on Poll option field is not intended though it supports html tags now which is unintentional. We need to encode the data used in Poll option field in future matrix version.
