Anyone here developed a whole website in HTML5 yet? … and in matrix?
This is a pretty amazing example, and no f*king flash.
No, but I just developed a new website in HTML6 and MySource4.

We are working on using HTML5 at the moment, but this won’t be in Matrix.
99% of the stuff on that site can all be done today without HTML5 at all.
cheers,
Richard

There is some amazing potential for dynamic sites with HTML 5, but the browser support is so limited at the moment. I’m certainly looking forward to deploying rich media without annoying plugin reliance. I think the biggest impact for us in the long term may be the possibilities it opens up for interface development.
Oh yeah, and maybe we might see ‘HTML coding’ re-coined as a term.
Hehe, I say cr@p or bu99er and I get Greg coming down on me like a ton of bricks, no discreet editing for me
Ahh HTML 5, it's like Web 2.0 for 2010.
I've seem some interesting discussion around designing with HTML5 and CSS3 to expose the power of the web, and then adding in Shims to ensure you get a similar experience across browsers that aren't quite up to speed yet (or users that are forced to remain on IE6). This takes a more design/develop for the browser of today/tomorrow rather than the yesteryear.
All well and good when you don't have any accessibility guidelines to follow.
Best advice is to discuss it with your client and design/develop to provide the end user the best possible web experience regardless of the platform/device.
A fairly interesting related read is an article that popped up in my news feeds recently
