Updated my 10 minute installation guide for Debian 7.0, Matrix 4.18.0 and a new host, Digital Ocean. Let me know if anyone has any issues, but in testing everything went super smooth and was installed in about 6 minutes due to Digital Ocean being on SSD.

Awesome stuff Nick, I used your previous install guide just recently and found it very easy to follow. Great to see an updated one!

Hi Nic,
Thank you for writing an updated version of the installation guide.
I followed the instruction and everything went fine, except I'm getting this error when I try and login:
MySource Error [ASSERT EXCEPTION] Asset "session_handler_default" is not installed on the system, unable to include its source file [SYS0320].
I used the Debain 7.0 64 bit droplet from Digital Ocean.
Thanks.

Hmmm, never seen this before. There is a question about this on the forums: http://forums.squizsuite.net/index.php?showtopic=9776&hl=session_handler_default
The only thing I did was use the 32 bit droplet, but not sure if that would have made a difference.

Just followed the instruction again but using the 32bit droplet, and it works perfectly.
The new asset map is joy to use and it is fast! and these digital ocean servers are nifty! I'm using the Amsterdam location and paying only $5!!!
Thanks Nic!
