Installation Error - Step 02

Hi All,

 

I'm having some difficulty installation squiz matrix. I have PostgreSQL installed along with all the required dependencies (confirmed by the requirements script). After running step 2 I get the following error;

 

Fatal error: Uncaught exception 'Exception' with message: 'Could not create database connection: DBError!:SQLSTATE[08006] [7] FATAL:  Ident authentication failed for user "matrix"

 

I've created the users and database, and update the db.inc file exactly as the guide says but am still not having much luck. My server is running on Amazons EC2 and I started with TurnKey's LAPP appliance.

 

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

You need to make sure to edit the Postgres .conf file and change the permissions. :)
