I was just looking at the Matrix wiki site, and it is horrible out of date. I am thinking about working on updating it, I know there is much that I have learned, that would help other users out. Is there anyone else here willing to help me to start updating the wiki site? We need some sort of resource like this! Who is with me?
The Wiki has been dead for a while. I'm not sure if there are plans on officially reviving it, but feel free to add your own stuff.
Why did the project die? Lack of participation?

We moved a lot of the stuff we were planning to do on the Wiki to the Matrix site itself (http://matrix.squiz.net). Most of the development discussion, including the specifications are now there as well. The other stuff can be found at the main Squiz site (http://www.squiz.net), like featured clients and such.
Sorry to gravedig, but are there any plans to implement a new wiki? It would be a great way of documenting and sharing information that otherwise doesn't exist.
I'm finding a lot of the official documentation only outlines what a feature does, and not how to use it. I imagine a community-based approach to improving or supplementing the documentation would make life much easier for those who otherwise don't know what they're doing.

We do have plans to implement user contribution notes/comments on the MySource Matrix User Manuals Library shortly. This will allow users to report any errors, requests to add documentation, user contributed supplementary material etc. on the chapters of the manuals. It should encourage matrix community involvement and discussion, while also helping us further refine our documentation to better fit the needs of our users.
In the meantime, feel free to use our MySource Matrix User Manuals Library for any requests of additions/modifications and discussion on the Manual’s web site.
