Lookup settings inheritance

Hello all

 

I have the following page lineage, with their lookup seetings:

 

Page 1, layout "committee pages", override layout "Broads Authority", effective layout "Broads Authority"

 

Page 2 (child of page 1), layout "meeting", override layout "committee pages", effective layout "committee pages"

 

Page 3 (child of page 2), no layout, no override layout, effective layout "committee pages"

 

My understanding is that page 3's effective paint layout should be "meeting", not "committee pages", and this is what I need. Am I misunderstanding this, or has something gone wrong somewhere?

Yes, I would think it should be meeting as well.

User error. How I had managed to set a URL-specific paint layout I don't know. But I had.
