Mass create assets from word files

Hi, I have been reading the forum for a while, 

 

I have a project that require approximately 1,000 pages to be migrated into Matrix. I seek advice on an automatic conversion process - if anyone has had experience I would appreciate their advice.

How can we automatically convert a word document to a Matrix asset (preferably the whole chunk of documents at once)?

If automatic conversion is possible, is there anybody who has previously done it and what are the pros and cons to do this.

Provided the document is formatted with proper headings H1 and H2 and your server can handle it. Shouldn't be a problem.
