Squiz today released a new candidate release of the MySource Matrix® Open Source Content Management System (CMS), the first of the new 3.12 series. Version 3.12.0 RC1 contains almost 80 new features compared to the 3.10 series.
This version is for evaluation only, and no upgrade path is provided from earlier versions. Users of production systems should not upgrade to 3.12.0 RC1, and instead should upgrade to the first stable version of 3.12.0, currently scheduled for 8th January 2007. An upgrade guide for users of version 3.10 will be made available with the 3.12.0 stable release.
The new version is now available for download from the MySource Matrix download page. The complete list of new features is available from the Changelog available within the download.
