The core download of the MySource Matrix Content Management System (CMS).
Version 3.18.0 RC2 is the latest release candidate of the 3.18 branch. This version fixes 25 bugs found in 3.18.0 RC1. Compared to the 3.16.x branch, 3.18.0 RC2 contains about 40 new features. Also, this release is the first to contain experimental Oracle database support under PHP 5.
This release is for evaluation only. Existing users of the 3.16 branch should not upgrade to 3.18.0 RC2. Further, no support is provided by Squiz for 3.18.0 RC1-to-RC2 upgrades.
- [b]PostgreSQL database:[/b] this version requires PHP 5.1.6 or later. PostgreSQL 8.3 is not yet supported.
[*][b]Oracle database:[/b] Recent fixes in the stability of PHP 5's Oracle support mean that support is not available in any current stable version. We expect PHP 5.2.6 to contain these fixes, and currently recommend testing with the latest 5.2.6 RC on a non-production server.
