Naming documents/Pages in other languages

Hi guys

Using Squiz manuals we have found a possible solution but seems a bit clunky and a bit more complicated than what we need.

On our website, we want to provide 6 PDF's in 6 different languages, basically I want to name each document 'Arabic, Dari, Farsi etc etc' in their own language. And when they see this, open the document the fact sheet has been already translated officially.

We can make the page change langauges when their browsers are set to a certain one, but we have had to make a new site and seems like it might be rather clunky as the content of the fact sheets are the important bits.

If anyone has done this or knows how we can do this any easier please let me know, thanks heaps!

Callum

So, you are trying to show the corresponding PDF depending on what local you are showing?

Sorry for late reply. Well in a way. I was hoping there was an easier way though. For e.g I want to be about to just call PDF's their language in Squiz matrix, don't need tricky stuff like making browsers see the language, at the core I need Squiz to let me put non english characters in the 'title' part on the details screen. I probably should have led with that, but if that isn't possible we'll have to look at using the browser stuff!

This make anymore sense? Thanks again.
