New site asset / new JS file

Hey all,

Looking for some advice on something that hasnt happened before.

I have created:

  • New site asset
  • new designs
  • nested content assets
  • new JS file

When editing new js file and previewing site the url for the new js asset is set to an external uid and isnt behaving correctly.

I have the correct permissions, all of the site and child assets are under construction. ANy reason why this would happen or I am missing in my set up?

This is what shows in devtools -

<script src="./?external-uuid=cd693091-87b0-45cb-bee2-acd9b58e4084&amp;v=0.1.4"></script>

This should point to my min.js folder (exactly same set up as live site).

Image shows bottom scripts, its the 2nd line which matches the one above (apart from use of & rather than ?)

Just noticed my design site asset which hosted my parse file / css and js doesnt have a url - should a design site asset have a url?

My other site assets do.

@Rhys I saw your post about finding these external uuids, I have only ever noticed these occasionally over the years. Only way I could suggest finding these are in the data search tool under the spanner / tools option.

Sorted - my design asset didnt have a url, which I didnt think needed one but because this didnt have a url / domain it prints the uuid number instead.

I assume you all add a domain url to your designs site asset?? Do you use this to structure them to host the parse file and css etc?

Thanks for the mention, yes that finds some of them but not all

I never found a good way to find an assets uuid
