Notice Links and Feed Manager

Hello everyone.

 

I just have a quick query regarding notice links and the feed manager.

 

When I delete an asset and purge the trash does the notice link delete with the asset?

 

At my company we use notice links to update the description of different hotels, an example being: feedid::ph::hotel::12051 with the number being the hotel number.

 

However I have discovered that if the hotel number is used more than once only the first asset to have it will update with the feed manager.

 

If I was to delete the first asset would the second asset then gain the feed?

What Feed Manager are you talking about?

The asset is a Matrix Feed XML.

It works by importing in an XML file that looks up the hotel number (through the notice link) and updates the description

I assume you are working on one of the UK National Park sites? The Matrix Feed assets are custom assets, so I have never used them before, so not sure how to help.
